I've hated every Black Eyed Peas song as soon as it was released - without fail. However, recently I've discovered after being forced to listen to some songs repeatedly, I really like Where Is The Love? and I'm starting to quite enjoy Pump It. Am I likely to begin enjoying some of their other music too? (Surely not My Humps?)

They really are quite shit, and by "quite" I mean "very".
But even I can be heard sometimes humming along to Let's Get It Started for which I hate myself.

At first I thought Black Eyed Peas were amazing, with the likes of Where Is The Love, Shut Up and Let's Get Retarded/It Started but then they went shit and started pissing themselves on stage, there OK, but very hyped up by the media.

But they're not ok, or one of the few decent pop acts around. They make shitty pop that people think is good because it has an 'urban' sound - kind of like the Pussycat Dolls.
Shut Up has to be one of the worst songs ever and I'd say that Don't Fuck With My Hole or whatever it was called is right up there with it and then also Don't Lie comes close for having the equally shite 'no no no no' bit that was in their previous song, sung in an equally annoying nasally voice.

In theory I hate them, but I have listened to Pump It, My Humps, Shut Up, Hey Mama, Don't Lie, Don't Phunk (oh PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE) With My Heart and Let's Get It Started *ahem* quite a few times. Don't even get me started on Where is the Love, though.

I always hate their songs when they come out, and I end up liking them eventually. Possibly because they seem to get played endlessly on the radio and on music TV channels. Except Pump It- perhaps because I actually know which song they've nicked all the music from on that one.
I think they are today's equivalent of bubblegum pop, in a similar way that the Pussycat Dogs are. They are basically pop songs with urban elements to them.

I depised "Where Is The Love" and still do. You can't go round sticking pamphlets on buses! Of course the cops will chase you! The video was hilarious for Will I Am's remarkable gurning though - check out the KKK line in particular.
I followed that by hating "Shut Up", mainly because a group that got big by singing about love then shouldn't counter that by yelling at people to shut up.
Then a change started to occur. I liked "Let's Get It Started". Then I liked "Don't Phunk With My Heart". Then I liked Will I Am and Fergie's version of "True" on the 50 First Dates soundtrack. Then I liked "Don't Lie". And I thought "Blimey, even though I still don't like their initial hits, these new ones are alright. Maybe they'll keep getting better."
And then "My Humps" came out, and that thought came crashing back down to earth like a basejumper with faulty equipment. When "Pump It" followed that, it was like the paramedics dispatched to help the basejumper accidentally ran over his body on arrival.
I still like some of thier songs, but I don't think I'll ever fully convert to liking them in total.
