She's practically churning out a new 'demo' every few days - ....I like this, in fact her uptempo numbers (2 the limit) far supercede the ballads....did anyone hear 'Wonderful' ? Your views? www.myspace.com/mutya1

I'm loving her songs. Wonderful blew me away..her vocals on that song are amazing, I've never heard her sing like that. I'm very excited!

Her vocals on 'wonderful' were wonderful indeed (although a little sharp in places - but hey, they're only demos). Am hotly anticipating her debut. I have a feeling she'll do really well - she never sung like this as one third of the sugababes.....

Exactly what I was thinking. Now I know where those compliments from producers she worked with before came from. She's a great singer and I'm sure she can pull it off. I must be the only one loving her ballads more. To the Limit is a tune though.

Her ballads really do showcase her voice to the full.. I always thouht she had quite a limited range but hell no! I really can't think of any other uk vocalists with her style - its truly unique.
Love Story and are a little r'n'b lite for my liking, and i guess that's purely due to the production (which is in its basic and infant stages). I'd like her to do some more edgier type ballads similar to the sugababes but then that would only lead to comparisons -hey ho....

I like 'Darkside'. It reminds me of early Sugababes, which is no bad thing.

My thoughts exactly... her new tunes are qutie decent, but that layout really puts me off her. Why the dirty tattooed naked lady?
And as for Candy fan, it still surprises me that in this day and age people still don't fucking know how to use a forum. How Candy have anything to do with Mutya I have no idea. Go and die.

I'm starting to love Darkside most. It's a real grower, I can't stop listening to it.

Darkside is a new entry on PJ's Chart of Truth (at No: 16), which is reassuring.
I still prefer 2 the Limit.

Ooh I love it. It's between dignified and frenetic, and has perfectly Mutya-fitted lyrics (in that she has a "dark side").

Well, it's obvious that Mutya wasn't the songwriting talent in Sugababes..........

I think it's fair to say that the songwriting talent behind the Sugababes' success doesn't include any of the band members past or present.

Why is the Chart Of Truth trying to suggest that Darkside is better than Siobhan's Don't Give It Up?! That's just plain ridiculous.

I like Mutya but she is so overrated by this forum. She doesn't have anything special like Siobhan. I guess she will do well and Siobhan will struggle.

Mutya seems to a have a fair bit more spirt about her, while Siobhan seems more introverted. As recording artists the are superficially opposite in many ways. I have listened to Darkside and I was very impressed! It sounds like a good song - hopefully the presence of Mr C as Mutya's no1 myspade friend will lead to something rave-tastic in the future.

In my opinion, Darkside is the worst of the lot so far. It has these mediocre Eurovision-style clever shit lyrics plus probably a tune that she wrote herself, becuase it's just so extremely unnatural.
here's hoping..

I really wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of Mutya...or her sisters...or her pack of dogs.
She is my new friend on myspace.
