It was my last day at Uni today, so what?,I hear the collective yawn. Well, when I got home I felt I should 'mark the occasion' with a song, first I thought 'Moving on up' either the M People or Primal Scream song, then I settled on Kylie's 'Enjoy yourself' as I...um...need to start enjoying myself again, and it got me thinking, what other songs do you lot choose as an end of an era/start of a new one, like when you hear about a new job, move into a new home etc;

I really miss uni. I'm sorry but the good times are now behind you.
gone are the days where you wake up whenever you want gone are the hours spent wandering around HMV gone are the drinks priced at ridiculously cheap prices (unless you live near poptastic in manchester) gone are the things you can put off till tomorrow what you could do today gone are the times you can loiter around kebab shops at 4am with a chip naan every day!
No More good morning TV 4 u!
Its a slippery slope to retirement now
i think you should put on 'exit music' by radiohead

Still, I work weekends mostly so, on the positive side if I get a full time Mon-Fri job: I can go away lots of weekends Watch Popworld and, if it returns CD: UK Go out fri and sat night, and yes I'm not too far from Poptastic Do silly things like post loads on here without feeling guilty that I should be studying. Hopefully have some money again! (well, once I've paid off ££££s of debts...) Freedom! maybe I'll play george michael now...

If you're feeling 'freed' then listen to Suzette Charles' forgotten PWL flop gem "Free To Love Again". Yes, it's about love and not uni but it's a corker.

I too thought of 'Last One Standing' when I saw the title

I ended secondary school yesterday! In the assembly the teachers dressed up as person-less-rich-and-brilliant-than-me s and danced to Verbalicious - Don't Play Nice. I think I was the only one who knew the song, let alone was singing along!

'What a Feeling' - Irene Cara from Flashdance (Great song, dire movie! )
It was a hit in the summer I quit my job to go back to Uni, and always gives me that 'moving on' feeling.
