He dons a rasta hat and blacks up. Lauryn Hill's in it too.

Only thing i know is he's in a lift with a 7 foot trannie. Robbies videos are usually really good most of the time loads better than the song is. I'm still not liking the new song.

I liked it. I thought it was very different but not too 'out there'. The song has really grown on me.
And I also thought he looked very ... (to use a teenie term).... Fit.
I think he could have another potential number one on his hands. I don't know what else is released that week and the week previously

Rachel's out, but she's probably got another #10 on her hands.

It looks like a typical mid-80s pop video, with a bunch of 'bizarre concepts' chucked together for no apparent reason.
Robbie now resembles that little boy from the old Yellow Pages advert.

It did the job for me, and I like the song even more now. Was it me, or did the child in the car mouth 'gay' at one point?

This is Robbie's attempt at moving on from the niche he's carved in the pop industry into something more interesting and dangerous.
I still don't know what to make of this video so that could be a good thing.

As the Not the Nine O'clock News once sang "Nice Video, Shame About The Song".

Robbie now resembles that little boy from the old Yellow Pages advert. So true it stings. That boy used to be on TV all the time a few years ago. Wonder what became of him? Saw the vid on CD:UK today. It was ok. Shameless bit of leg, tit and bulge when he's in the bed. He loves getting his body out doesn't he. The video struck me as the song did, it's ok but I felt it doesn't really go anywhere after a promising start. Mind you it was cut to ribbons so I shall perhaps feel more towards when I see it in full. I liked Rachel's video though! More prisons in pop!

What annoys me is the vanity of some pop singers to think they can rap. Why crowbar a shit rap into the middle of a song just for the sake of it? Crap rapping always ruins a potentially good pop song and this is no different. French Kisses did the same thing - please tell these egotists that they can't rap.

I saw the video again on The Box last night. I think the (loose) concept is that he is having a dream/nightmare hence the weird imagery. So does the boy in the car & being carried up the stairs represent Robbie's inner child?
Also according to a colleague of mine who works part time with children who have hearing disabilities - she saw the video over the weekend & the boy in the car does mouth "gay".
So either Robbie is trying to drop another hint or he is having a laugh at everyone's expense concerning his sexuality. Especially with him being stuck in a lift with a 7 ft transvestite & the two lesbians? in the backseat of the car & in the maze.
I still think the song is no better then average & the rap is clearly inspired by Madonna circa American Life (i.e. crap)!
