I'd like to be the first to post a 'Hey that's a really cool idea, I can't wait' message... but I have a conscience.
Don't kill yourself. Kill H. You know it makes sense.

It was car crash TV all right! So many highlights:
*Since when did H develop Tourette's?He never uttered such profanities when suspended from a highwire whilst weilding a lightsabre to the tune of Cher's 'Believe'.
*Lisa Scott-Lee trying to make the show all about her. There's still that media whore trying to burst its way out.
*Claire Richards' further weight gain.
*Lee not being featured. Clearly he was jamming with 'The Latch' whilst his 56 year old girlfriend looked on.
*H desperately looking on at past glories with all those photographs and thinking Aguilera was a cunt.
*On his first day at uni being all kerazy with the rest of his fellow students. There's always one twattish mature student in everyone's class who tries to be down with the kids.
*And finally my personal fave moment, when he was talking about that Sword Swallower painting he has. The juvenile in me sniggered at the thought of how many swords H has swallowed.
He really should be renamed Dafydd.

It made me dislike him even more! I hate it when a popstar turns round and says everything they did was shit just to look cool. It's like a huge slap in the face to all fans. H said 'I was the Knob in Steps' - No, you still are

I can forgive Lee though as I still think he's hot despite the bad hair.
I'd like to know more about how H got in. Saying they made him do Tragedy at the audition isn't making me think he deserves it. I bet the prospect of a TV Show was mentioned in the audition

I'm slightly scared to admit this- but I thought he was OK!
He' s really put himself on the line with this show- he could end up looking more of a knob than usual.
I'm not saying he's brilliant or anything- just that he has guts and he's alright. There's much much worse people in pop to dislike (robbie williams for example)
And don't forget his hypnosis session on This Morning.
And he was in Steps for fucks sake- we actually have alot to thank him for!

Lisa for once didn't think it was all about her Faye was bloody hilarious Lee aint got his older trannseaxual g/f anymore..I think she's found herself a 16 yr old to play with!

I thought it was quite entertaining actually. I mean, it's not prime-time quality material, no, but that's why it's on T4 on a Sunday afternoon.
It was worth watching just to see the girls be nice to H publically, although I wasn't surprised Lee wasn't on it.
It was interesting anyway, he looked and acted a lot less gay I think. At least he wasn't running around shouting "oooh oooh!". And I don't think he was slagging off what he did in Steps, he was just facing the truth, he was always seen as "that nob from Steps" by most people. It looked to me like he genuinely wanted to fit in there, and just have a good experience on the course, not parading around shouting "I was in Steps, out of my way!"
Plus, as said, he's been brave to do this, he could come out of the show worse off than when he went in. If it works out, it will have been a brilliant piece of PR!

I like the way they ignored the whole H and Claire thig, especially when he says they left because they were burnt out/it was too tiring being a pop star. So he tried being a pop star again like two months later

Actually....i thought claire looked alot better than she has done.
she has clearly been losing weight....cos she was kinda big a short time ago.
The whole programme was worth it for the 15 second bit from Claire! - i've missed her.

Three questions: How did H get a place at Royal Academy of Music? How old is he? Does he play a musical instrument?

Surely this thread should be moved to the Clowns and Idiots board, simply for being about H. He perfectly embodies the essence of being a clown and idiot in pop.

I watched the last ten minutes of this while I was waiting for Will Young's concert to come on T4.
Did you hear H say to the singing teacher "Well, I mimed for six years."! Don't we know it!

I'm holding out in the hope that his 'partner' will be revealed at some point. I'd love for it to be someone vaguely well known, but I just can't decide which faded d-lister would be funniest. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions? I didn't look to see what the next post along had quoted and just imagined that Mel C was in resonse to this. That would be a revelation on so many levels.

It's quite cringy to see him really losing the plot at times. Why the hell did he not run his choice of song by the teacher before the actual night he was meant to sing it?!
The first episode is still my favourite so far; the drawings of bloody dead sheep heads as examples of his prized a-level artwork, the inspired paintings he'd done the other night - with the camera panning to 3 canvases completely painted black above his bed, his satisfaction at having acquired a hard-to-get locker and nobody else was really giving a shit, and his resolve to tipp-ex the name of said locker's previous owner off the door.

Anyone watch yesterdays episode when he was making a huuuge deal about how bad he looked on an old photo? All very well and good, except the only thing that has changed since said photo is that he now brushes his hair forward rather than to the side.
