I know most of you probably couldn't see this (hopefully an mpg shows up online), but they performed "Don't Cha" on Leno last night and they were amazing! It was sung live with a band, which made the song sound even better, and towards the end they started to speed it up a bit before a complete techno dance breakdown. Ah!!!! It was pure brilliance!

Ugh I usually watch Leno but one of the few nights I don't, a group I'm actually interested in is there. Go figure.

The dance break at the end is cool. I would love to hear Don't Cha in a club in Britain. I hope they make an effort with promotion over here.

Don't Cha are currently the most played video on Swedish TV. Great to see that they're having some international success!
Are they releasing an album anytime soon?

They probably will do after their big success with Don't Cha in America. What's the video like? In my head it's The 411's On My Knees or the Lady Marmalade video.

How are they doing on the american charts? They started off slow, in the eighties and then seventies. All of a sudden they were number 17 and this week they're number 13. No doubt Busta Rhymes will take this to mean that it's all down to him. The version without him is so much better though.

This song is pretty sweet- the production is great, Busta's cameo is great, the lead vocal completely nails the sentiments of the lyrics....but it's too much of a chick song for me. I just can't really get into a song when the key lyric is "Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me". I am quite anticipating their album, though, and they're one of the most intruiging pop prospects of 2005 along with the new Suga album and Charlotte Church. I also wholly approve of their ability to persuade hot young female slebs to dress up like, and prance around as, total slags, like Gwen Stefani Eva Longoria Christina Applegate Chrissy Ag Pamela Anderson Charlize Theron Paris "World's Worst Eye Wonk" Hilton Brittany Murphy Crazy Beautiful Scarlett Johansson And, uh, Kelly "MY EYES!!!" Osbourne Not to mention Shannen Elizabeth, Jaime Pressly, and other "who?" hotties. I kinda wanna see what Nikka Costa, Pink, and Fergie looked like all Pussycatted up but there seem to be no pics on the Net

Excitement!
The girls' debut album, PCD, is out on September 13. If it's all as good as Don't Cha, we're in for a treat...

I don't think they're going to go anywhere except The Dumper, fast. I like the song but I hate their image, it's so trashy. They make Cookie look almost classy.

Hmmm I like the song but I find the group unbelievably bland. They're like the US version of the 411. It's like 'Disney does sleaze' or something. They might dress the part and have the right dance moves but lack the embodiment of if all. I don't for one moment believe they're 'wrong'.
Unsurprisingly they look like nothing more than a group of backing dancers. They became a name because they managed to attract bigs stars to perform with them but it was always these celebs the people were interested in and now they're gone you're left with nothing more than a group of girls who look like they have taken time off American Juniors or the Lindsay Lohan tour to get dressed up and release an album of their own.

I managed to get an MP3 of this and I have to say that all songs should now end in a techno dance breakdown. It was just awesome.

I kinda wanna see what Nikka Costa, Pink, and Fergie looked like all Pussycatted up but there seem to be no pics on the Net VH1's 100 Hottest bodies has a piece on Fergie and a small clip of her in Pussycat gear. It's on MTV/VH1/TMF alot, you should find it quite easily.

Is anyone else starting to tire of this?
It's been around for so long, and now it's getting played to death on the music channels. It has to be said that it doesn't stand up to that many listens - especially the none-too-eventful chorus.
I'm still interested to hear the album.
