The first song ever played on the second season was a very fitting Ooh La La La which was the first time I ever liked the song. Did anyone else hear this? They did a great placement and working of it I thought.

Dude, Again today they played this song on a USA TV show, this time it was CBS's NCIS (A crime program) in the begining durring a sex-scene over the internet/murder scene. I think this song is calling me to worship it.

It may seem harsh, but I think the most direct route to success for Goldfrapp in America would be to get the songs on the new album into car adverts. Or iPods ads. I think it would work great for Annie, too.
Is there a US release date for the album yet? It seemed odd that there was no mention of one at the time of the release in the UK and Europe. This simply means that the limited fanbase that Goldfrapp already have in the states will already have it by the time it is released here.

Have they even released anything at all in the USA? I know that "Train" is on my QAF US season 4 cd, and I love that song. It's also on the Real World too.

Perhaps they've only just got a US deal? March is an awful long time away.

I'm looking forward to it, but I can honestly say I don't think they'll do wonders with Ooh La La here.

As long as they don't overdo it like the Franz did. "Do You Want To" was on the season premiere episode of seemingly every American TV series. Goldfrapp has been on Mute US for a while. The long wait for the album release seems needless, but I'm glad they're releasing Number 1 as the first single. Fascinatingly, an LA radio station - albeit one with a national profile (the one with Nic Harcourt's show) - is sponsoring the sole Goldfrapp US concert date this year[/u] in New York. I'll be there!
