so that must mean you've never seen In Bed With Madonna then, becuase that is clearly superior to I'm going to tell you a Secret.
Dont get me wrong, IGTTYAS was good- but it was no IBWM.
I'm glad Madonnas happy and found some spirituality- but I don't really want over 2 hours of it on my TV- I want her to fellate bottles, be vulgar and not sing fucking Imagine.
But then again, you can't beat vintage madonna.
at least confessions has made up for the IGTTYAS

I thought it was pretty good - the concert footage was amazing.
However, was it just or me or did it seem to last for hours on end. I thought I'd fell asleep and woke up - AND IT WAS STILL ON!!!

It did seem to drag though I think that was the adverts making it longer.
The concert footage was great to see in the on going absence of a Reinvention DVD but I wish they hadn't cut it to buggery.
I need to watch it again really as I had people chatting all through it. I don't think it seemed as much fun as "In Bed With" and I missed the Diva Madonna from that film.

The concert footage was amazing, and it was great when she talked about peforming and the tour. The political stuff, and the common sense masquerading as mysticism was painfully embarrassing. Makes me think of that phrase 'never meet your heroes'. Can't wait for the Reinvention dvd though.

Great! Really showed us how Madonna's mind works these days and she seems so much more content these days. Lola is scarily like a mini-me of her mother though, and I found it very moving when she said how much she missed her mum and didnt see her that often. We also got a glimse of Madonna letting her guard down and crying at the last show, probably realising that she spends more time with her dancers than her children. Does anyone else find Guy slightly up himself? Leaving our poor Madge on her own after concerts, not going to most of them, and just, well not really being very enthusiastic about anything. Seing Madonna's boredom at the pub it made me think "how often does this happen? It's like they are in parrelel universerses sometimes." Overall thoguh a very moving, funny, honest and touching doc, and i feal the closest weve seen to the "real" Madonna, insteas of the performer.
I also have a crush on Stuart Price

Does anyone else find Guy slightly up himself? Leaving our poor Madge on her own after concerts, not going to most of them, and just, well not really being very enthusiastic about anything. Oh God, Guy Ritchie was such an arse. I think he was trying to be funny or something, but he just came across as a dull, arrogant, twat. It seemed to be a bit of an act, but then what kind of utter cunt do you have to be to want to put on that kind of arsehole act in your wife's film? I wouldn't let him touch me with somebody else's barge pole, so what the hell is MADONNA doing with him? The kids were cute as buttons though. Some of the voice over content was a bit cringey, to say that performing in the rain is like being in a war zone is slightly overstating things. I do sympathise that it's not nice to be worried that you'll fall over, but it's not really the same now is it? In sum: concert footage/dancy bits/Stuart/kids = complete aceness idiot husband/spiritual ramblings = I can't articulate my thoughts well enough
