I really don't get this show. Overpaid TV presenters taking the piss out of nobodies or past celebrities earning much less money than them. And it seems that nobody on there really likes music that much. It really is a strange (and rather unpleasant) concept..
Still, at least, we got Girls Aloud and Will Young on University Challenge, to Paxman's utter despair, and that was quite fun in a "Hey! I know the answer to that question" kinda way.

Yes I saw that. I love Jeremy but he is the most patronizing arse at times.

Ive always found Buzzcocks one of the funniest shows on TV although your enjoyment of it probobly depends more on if you like Mark Lamarr and Bill Bailey than if you are a big fan of music.
On the concept of the show being about presenters taking the piss out off their guests and not really liking music, I thought that show was called Popworld?

I hate Mark Lamarr. He was bearable on Shooting Stars as he didn't say much but being presenter of Never Mind the Buzzcocks is too much.

I have mixed feeling on Mark. He is funny. But he makes out he hates every artist, nay, he hates music in general.

I think Buzzcocks has been one of the most consistently funny long-running shows that's been on TV in the last decade. I don't like Mark Lamarr all that much, but he does do a good job of presenting, and Bill Bailey offsets a lot of the spitefulness with his confused Wookiee act. And he's also a classically trained musician, so I don't think you could accuse him of not liking music.

I wish they'd put it out of its misery
It was funny to begin with, but after 10 years it's OLD and TIRED

I can't decide how I feel about Mark Lamarr not presenting the next series of Buzzcocks.
On one hand he is rude about some people and it does grate on me - especially when he takes it too far.
However there's great chemistry between him, Phil Jupitus and Bill Bailey and it more than likely won't be there when the guest presenters are introduced next series.
I love Buzzcocks and have a feeling that having the Guest presenters on the next series could seriously send it downhill.

I gave up on NMTB a few seasons back when it all got too samey.
Plus, I can't stand Phil Jupitus. I don't find him in any way funny.
The line-up of has beens is embarrassing. How down on one's luck does one have to be to stand in a line-up and be ridiculed.
Mark lamarr is

Mark Lamarr is great on the radio... his fifties rock show, Nuggets-esque alternative sounds of the sixties and reggae shows were great too. On the other hand, he's obviously not a pop justice kind of guy. Some of the humour on Buzzcocks is a bit nasty and homophobic though... but, hey, I only really laugh at Chuck Jones cartoons and the Good Life.
