I only came in to the end of this at a mate's house.
The acts I saw were : K T Tunstall - who was quite good but started the song looking fab and ended it looking ragged James Blunt - who ended up getting up close and personal with K T sang -surprise,surprise- Beautiful. God it's a hard song to sing live but he managed it just about. Goldfrapp - I love their music but their performance was a pile of pretentious wank. Mark Almond who looked and sounded crap I do love the atmosphere on this show though. Jules is a fantastic pianist and his enthusiasm is cool if that's not a contradiction in terms.

Considering Marc Almond was nearly DEAD not so long ago I thought he looked and sounded amazing. He is about fifty after all
I didn't see anything else on it though (except Jennifer Saunders - oh dear)

Ade Edmunson (sp?) getting up and singing "Oh My God" with kaiser chiefs was brilliant. I love Jools, Hootanany.

Yep. One year you could see Holland on stage somewhere in IReland as part of the BBC1 New Year show.
