So, Will and Grace is soon over. (love the show!) They had alot of pop stars throughout the years Cher,Janet, Madonna,Jennifer Lopez and most recently Britney. I'm suprised Bette Midler or Tina turner were'nt on, and think Christina Aguilera deserved an epsisode, but who was ur guys' favorite? and who do you wish you'd seen?

Oh look, another Cameo just for the sake of it.

The only good cameo was Cher, and that's because we got to watch her slap the shit out of the annoying Sean Hayes. If only she had carried on the beating to the rest of the cast. And the writers. And the fans.

Will and Grace is one of those shows you watch, it isn't that funny but once or twice an episode there's a funny bit. It's a patronising attempt to be 'right on' having gay characters who are: Will-sexless and neutered and Jack-camp as christmas/shallow/self obsessed. They go to gay clubs full of really handsome, well dressed men and it's so removed from reality its fairly depressing. the cameos have been "ooh aren't I funny?" type cringey things. the only one i liked was J-Lo when she was announcing "I'm gonna sing my new song!" and Will and Jack were like "none of that shit, we want the good stuff! Waiting for tonight!" (oops, made a contradiction of myself there, looking as though I know every episode, I don't).

actually, the four central characters are supposed to represent the four different stereotypes of gay men:
Will - the lifestyle obsessed dreamer who is chasing his ideal Grace - the flakey artistic character who depends on men Jack - the image obsessed promiscuous character Karen - the one who feels superior to others because of their sexual status

It's always been a show I can take or leave, I've never made the effort to watch it (like Friends) but if it's on in the background I can watch it.
The only 2 star cameos I've seen are Madonna and Cher - I thought Madonna's was such a missed opportunity but I loved Cher's (wasn't she welcoming the gays into heaven?)

I'm the same, I really like the show but I could never tell you what season I am watching etc, if its on I'll watch it, if it disappeared I'd rant about there not being enough gay characters on TV for about 5minutes and then forget all about it.
