Has anyone else noticed that Kylie's Got to Be Certain and Nik Kershaw's Wouldn't it be Good are extremely similar? the middle 8's are almost exactly the same. was S/A/W involved in both? does anyone know the story here?

Yes - they are very similar. Pete Waterman had something to do with 'Wouldn't it be good' as it appears on his 'Pete Waterman's Greatest Hits' album from 2000, exactly what the connection is however I don't know for sure!

I'd never noticed it before, but you are marvellously correct. They are both rather marvellous songs. Marvellous.

I must investigate this when I get a chance as I love both songs.

Can someone do a bootleg? Kylie's vocal over Nik's track? Or even vise versa?!
