Ahh, nice to see that even Jenny Elly can get a mention from one of the world's biggest stars.

Do you think they can squeeze that Madonna angle any further.
It would be great if they weren't both really shite artists (though Britney used to be ace before she got laid attitude)

I'm hoping that Breathe on Me is in the grand Britney tradition of track #2 being the best on the whole album.
I quote:
Baby one more time: second track is (You Drive me) Crazy; Oops I did it again: second track is Stronger Britney: second track is Overprotected.
So hopefully Breathe on Me will be a pure pop stormer. Although the title doesn't give me much hope.

I can't remember which came out as a single first - Stronger or Lucky? Jessica

'Lucky' was released first.
I liked 'Lucky'.
But I loved 'Stronger'.

www.yingyangmusic.comFrom yahoo news "Group member Kaine explained that the invitation to collaborate with Spears was a surprise. "It was totally out of left field," Kaine said. "The Ying Yang Twins and Britney Spears, it sounds crazy, but the track we did will show everyone that the Ying Yang Twins are versatile... Man we don't even have a gold or platinum album yet, but they wanted the Ying Yang.""

This isn't an album I'll rush to buy straight away, but I'm certainly intrigued to hear it. Although MATM isn't really doing it for me(so far).

The MATM video premieres on Top Of The Pops on Friday!
The album tracklisting will definitely include the Rishi Rich Desi remix with Madonna as a UK bonus track and there will be one more which is as yet unconfirmed.
The cover will also be yellow and pink!

Breathe on Me is thought to be britneys Ray of Light.
Other tracks that are thought to be singles are:
Showdown Early MorninOutrageous Shadow Everytime Touch of my hand.
Everytime was written by Guy Chambers and produced by Guy Sigsworth.Lynne calls it a dreamy song and by far her favourite. I hope it's like the Frou Frou stuff. It was alsoknown as Sacred beforebeing retitled.

I can't help seeing this and thinking of Damon Dash's comment on Victoria that "If I can make her sound good I can make anyone". Most people are seeing this as Britney using loads of different producers to get a variation of sounds. Some appear to be going "lets write a track for Britney, people will think we're "versatile" for it." whilst not really caring how good it is because it's Britney who'll get slated if the album comes out and fails.

I think it was more a case of who she works with best and comesup with the best sound. Whats wrong with working with the a lot of producers? Nothing as long as the result is good. And we haven't heard it yet so we can't comment.

whilst not really caring how good it is because it's Britney who'll get slated if the album comes out and fails. Thats such pish! The producers are also taking a gamble by working with Britney. Case Study 1: Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins, who's output has been somewhat underwhelming since the 'Forever-Invincible' fiascos. If the album is slated, the buck will be passed to the producer and not Britney. However, I really believe Britney has had allot of input into this record. So, if it is a load of tosh we'll know who's really responsible.

If the album is slated, the buck will be passed to the producer and not Britney. That'd be a lot easier to believe if it was only one producer she's gone for. If the album goes tits up however will people blame every single producer that worked on the album because all the songs of different styles were crap or the one singing the songs and who chose to work with so many different producers in the first place?

I see this album going two ways. Either way it should get critics looking at her differently, and unlike Kylie, etc. who have already played journos and the like their brand new tracks, Jive have kept this album under wraps quite severely - only the biggest US radio stations got to hear a few preview tracks and some journalists got to hear some demos in Italy.
Getting back to what I was saying, the first way involves this being a major commercial success a la "Oops!" or maybe even "Britney" - which everyone says was a failiure, even though the sales were still incredibly high.
The other way I see this going is that it's an underground success, only being big with fans, like "Impossible Princess" by Kylie or "Bedtime Stories" by Madonna. It establishes her as a versatile artist without being incredibly successful.
Ideally a mixture of the two would be fantastic, but we all know that if something sells, the critics have to hate it.
"Everytime" has been premiered, btw, on SNL in the USA and it's a fantastic, downbeat, intimate and personal ballad.

Case Study 1: Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins, who's output has been somewhat underwhelming since the 'Forever-Invincible' fiascos. I wouldn't go that far. Yes Forever and Invincible were 2 albums that he'd probably rather forget, but have you heard Brandy's Full Moon album? It didn't do as well as it should have - tracks like It's Not Worth It, I Thought and (especially) What About Us are absolutely storming, and up there with Mr Jerkins' best work. As for Britney, I liked the songs he did with her on the last album (especially Lonely) so this could be promising.

Like I said in another topic, I thought that this was abit too ambitious for Britney and the vocal range she doesn't have. Granted, it picked up toward the end but she'd be better singing songs her voice can carry.
