Hi.
Newby here. Just reading the thread before registering. I must say that Cleopatra confused me when they came out. I couldn't stand Cleo's voice, and still find it grating. However, I was also interested in them with the a capella stuff. I too found cleo in particular arrogant. I also found and still find some of their lyrics extremely tacky like in cleopatra's theme and Come And Get Me. But I was impressed by their version of No Good advice, and was intrigued to see whether their voices had changed. So I bought their first 2 albums on Amazon.
what I'm wondering is whether the other 2 girls sing any leads on the albums. I reckon we hear at least one of them on tracks like voo-doo and This party's goin' Right or whatever it's called. I am always interested to hear all voices in groups. Kinda takes me back to the original DC days and I don't wanna rant about that again, so I won't. I always think each member should get a chance to sing, even if their voices aren't as strong as the lead singer's. That's why I liked the Sugababes, for example. so would like to know what tracks if any the other girls sing lead on please.
One more thing, I can't access the Cleo site as I don't have Flash plug-in. As this comp's really old, I don't wanna get it either. Probably won't work with win 98. And my screenreader which lets me access stuff like this probably won't work with it. I'm blind so can't see the print. So could someone please post the direct links to the cleopatra rare tracks that were mentioned. i'm only interested in the group ones, not cleo solo.
They said that the other 2 have made solo albums too. Does anyone know whether they've already been done, or whether this is an ongoing process, meaning they may be released in the future? So far I've seen nothing, which doesn't surprise me.
Thanks. will see ya around.

Eww, Cleo is by far one of the better british talents, Her songwriting is deep, songs like Cleopatra's theme was written when she was 9. 'Steppin Out' to me is the British equal to 'The Writing On The Wall' by Destiny's Child. The song wiritng the harmonies and vocals were all spot on. Cleo on Russell Watsons 'Someone Like You' & 'The Best That Love Can Be' show how amazing a vocalist she is even more so when she sings a ballad. Cleo Higgins is HOT!

If Cleopatra was on the show 911 was on they would've won that show easily.
