ok..now i love this gal. but i can't belive how wooden she looked watching this. where is the soul girl?? im only thiking the atmosphere there made the show cos obviuosely we are only getting the sound desk recording so we can't hear the crowds too much.
and as for the singing.......i'm sorry she sounds awful. and she looks old.
i feel horrible saying this cos i've always liked her :-(
maybe i should wait for the programme to end....i'm just in shock.

Despite not being a Kylie fan, I was looking forward to seeing this show - she's had some great songs durign her career, and I've read some great things about the stage show.
However, it just reitorated my opinion that anyone could be 'Kylie', with the right team around them. Her vocals were appalling and there was nothing special about her performance whatsoever. If it wasn't for the gimmickery of the show, it wouldn't be worth watching at all.

yep , have to agree. i'm a kylie fan but as the show went on her voice started to annoy me.
plus i'd have rather seen her danicing about & having fun than standing & walking with different head gear on.

i was totally disappointed also, i think she may have a sore throat or something becuase she doesn't even appear to be trying to sing the high range
look at i believe in you for instance...
it was much better live, but then again I was at the 2nd show so she wouldn't have been so tired back then.
vocals to one side though, still a bloddy fantastic show.

It was all show and no substance. Her voice is awful. I couldn't bear to watch, especially as it followed on from the glorious "Musicality"!

As someone who saw both the live and TV versions of the show... the TV screening did it no-where near enough justice.
Obviously when you're actually there there's the atmosphere etc etc, but the live sound is far superior for a start. Whilst I'll agree her voice seemed a bit shakey at the beginning, she soon got into it and I soon found the quality her live voice has rather endearing.
She was easily the smallest thing on the stage (if not the arena) and she still managed to light up the entire place.

I agree totally, the live show was amazing, I did still enjoy the TV show though. She seemed bloody knackered but still looked like she was having a great time. Her voice sounded tired, like I've said on here before, if a singer is tired, their voice is affected, badly. Infact tired singers shouldn't be singing in the first place, it can cause damage to the vocal chords, hence her holding back quite a lot. Tired vocals or not, she still blew Britney's show out of the water.
