I went to see 'CD:UK' being filmed, was a grandad compared to most of the audience, but was Ok. Saw Feeder, Will and Gareth (seems SOOOOO long ago)-we had to wave our hands in the air behind them and Sarah Whatmore doing 'When I lost you'. Cat looked gorgeous and the only downer was watching Bon Jovi do their new single TWICE, Jon had a face like thunder most of it, looked well miserable. No Streets related goss, but anyone else seen any shows filmed and seen anyone half decent?

I went in September with Greg from this forum to see CD:UK. We saw Charlotte Church, t.A.T.u.(!), Mariah Carey, and Kanye West. A pretty good week I think you'd agree. It was the relaunch. Being 19, I felt a bit too old myself.
Mariah took over an hour to set up the stage, and there was a revolt by some fans which was amusing.
And I was in the Studio for this year's Making Your Mind Up.

Went a few times for Girls Aloud, and I also went one time to see Rachel Stevens and the Sugababes. That show's a bastard when you're tall.

I've been to see TOTP before all this 'live' nonsense. We saw Abs, Mel C, Emma Bunton, Marilyn Manson. Murder Dolls, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Kelly Clarkson and Evanessence.
I went to Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway 2 weeks running, and saw Justin Timberlake, Westlife, Simon Cowell & Chas & Dave.
I've also been to see the Terry & Gaby show (when Abs was on), and MTV Select. I was front row in the audience when MTV Base filmed the N*E*R*D show at the Hammersmith Apollo too.

I saw Kylie, Busted,The Strokes and some others i cant remeber at Top Of The Pops, which was fun. Me and my mate got in every camera view we could girating our stuff. The producers decided to show girls with thier tits hanging out instead of us, so my shot at fame will have to wait
I saw Play Your Cards Right too!

I went on TISWAS (ask your parents if you can't remember this one)and some other Saturday morning show in the 80's I can't remember what it was called. We also went to see Rollerwars being filmed in Birmingham last year. Not sure if this is ever going to be shown though.

I went to CD:UK almost twenty times when I was about sixteen. Got my mug on telly so often I was recognised by staff in my local HMV.
That was the early days, like Steps, BWitched, S Club, A1, Honeyz, etc.
The last ever time I went was the Sugababes' debut TV appearance with Overload and Victoria Beckham had apparently beaten Groovejet to #1.

If I go again I'll be nothing short of totally indifferent. Oh! And Lena from t.A.T.u waved at me. ME! Just me! And Julia blow smoke in my face.

I was in the audience on Ricki Lake twice and had close ups on US telly. And Ricki's arse in front of me for ages. But that has nothing to do with pop music...

I went to CDUK once when Rachel was doing LA Ex promo however long along that was. It also starred Westlife. Great.
Buzzcocks last season earlier this year was awesome - so much gets cut, it went on forever and was very funny. Saw the new Family Fortunes being done a couple of weeks ago which included the 'interesting' Lee Ryan family.
And best of all I saw 'Old Guys' a new Armstrong & Bain (peep show) sitcom be filmed at Bbc scotland last week because my lovely housemate has written some of it with them. Hooray.

Been to Top of the Pops twice - once when Pink was number 1 with Just Like A Pill and t'other when they relaunched (for the 1000000th time) and Andi Peters became the exec and it was an hour long show - Blazin Squad were on with their hundreds of hoodie-clad dancers. It was quite a fun night!

I went to the recording of Movie Music Mania which aired around Xmas time on ITV. It was only McFly there - all the other acts performed the next day :S But still it was great fun. They gave us a load of banners to hold but I whacked Danny with mine. They did the song 4 times, and Danny forgot the words on one attempt. That was funny. We laughed at him.

I've been to CD:UK twice. First time in Jan 04 - saw Busted, Blazin' Squad and Jamelia (there must have been some more but I can't remember!) The second time was in April 04 - saw Busted again, Siscor Sisters and JC Chasez. It was quite good, though I didn't expect the room to look like it did! Managed to meet everyone I wanted too though which was fun.

Well, that was a wash out - the tickets have been cancelled because they are using a smaller studio and they can only take a very limited amount of people. VIPs and guests of the competitors I expect. Very disappointing I must say.

CD:UK three times -
May 2003 - Emma Bunton "2 Become 1" acoustic (I met her afterwards, to my utter Spice-loon delight), Girls Aloud "Girls Allowed", Dannii Minogue "Don't Wanna Lose This Feeling" and Blazin' Squad "We Just Be Dreamin'".
Summer 2004 (pre-record) - Anastacia "Sick And Tired" (she was fucking fabulous) and Ash "Sometimes", plus Will Young, Matt Goss (who Cat called Luke to his face by mistake - genius) and Tim from Ash doing the HotShots video review.
October 2004 (pre-record) - Rachel Stevens "More More More", Estelle "Free" (I danced on stage behind her, not very well!), Travis "Walking In The Sun" and Kasabian "Processed Beats" (which I didn't see, I fucked off to the bar to unsuccessfully try and meet Rachel but bumped into Cat instead who was lovely and wished me a happy birthday for the next week *grins like a buffoon* my photo with her is horrendous, I look trashed - I was blinking - but the Deeley is hugging up to me)http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v111/jon-g-spice/jonandcatdeeley.jpg
It's great fun - but I'd definitely recommend going to a live show - the tedium of the waits with the pre-records can be too much!

I went to Fame Academy when it was in Shepperton Studios. We were a few foot away from Lionel Richie! How exciting. It was bloody hot in there, Cat kept fanning herself with her cards. Also what Simon Cowell often says about everyone sounding better in the studio is sooo true. I booed Carrie really loudly when she was mean about Katie. And the camera people who come swizzing about behind you got my ankle and it really hurt

I went to The Paul O'Grady show today.
It was great fun! The guests were Joan Collins and Will Young which at first glance seemed a strange pairing but they got on famously. Will sang Who Am I at the beginning and it was excellent (of course). Then Joan had a interview with Paul after which Will joined them and they all had a chat - very funny.
When we came out of the studio Will was getting into his car andgave us a little wave (we didn't know he would be there and were just on our way out of the TV Centre) He drove off at a great rate - phone clamped to his ear.
