I wouldn't be surprised if they never release anything again. The novelty of them as a duo has clearly worn off. As for solo careers - don't be silly. I believe Sam and Mark will shock us all with the third single. That will be the platform from which they truly establish themselves as a trailblazing pop act. Interesting change of heart there...

I think a lot of people, myself included, have been won over recently. Their TV appearances are so self assured - they seem to have that pizzazz, that personality, that some other popstars lack.

My opinion probably doesn't count to any of you, but I'll state it anyway...seeing as you all seem to.
The first single, I think many people thought it was cheesy and typical of the duo to do, however, with the second single I think that it was a stronger song but people were put off by the first single, therefore they clung on to thier past opinions. This I think, is mainly down to the record company not Sam and Mark, I think the record company need to let them release some of Sams wriiten work, he is a very talented song writer.
Yet people do seem to be getting bored of them as a duo now, even some of thier fans, this is not good as thier fan base will drop and drop unless they release some good material in the near future.
They have not really been in the "limelight" for a while, which is not too good, but I think that if they spend some time preparing a third single, which is strong and also makes the critisising people take note then they could make a strong comeback. I hope that on the album there is songs which have been written by Sam as it is a waste to not let him show off his song writing skills.
If the duo were to split then I think its obvious to say that Sam would have a better career than Mark, throughout Pop Idol it was clear he could have been a very succesfull solo artist. Yet I dont think they will split at least for a while anyway, which is quite sad because they both do deserve some sort of success.
Anyway...like I said thats my opinion. Love it or hate it.(I can probably guess the reaction though)

And how long have I been saying this for? What with this and the Javine/Jade cover, I think you need to always listen to me in future Stormy.

Well I am also a big Sam fan and have to agree with everything zilch said. And shock, horror am also an 'older woman'
Unfortunately we are not seeing Sam to his full potential in the duo, because as has been said their styles are so different, and they are having to compromise.
Time will tell what happens to the duo, but I am sure Sam Nixon will be a star in his own right in the near future.
