As it says on the PJ homepage, you only need to sell 70 copies to get into the Australian top 100.

WOW! Fantastic news!
This means quite a lot, everyone expected it to drop but instead it climbed! And let's say again, with NO PROMO on radio or TV
That's really good news! And well deserved! YAY !!

This song isn't actually bad, the only reason she "failed" here was because of the bad public opinion of her. Mainly due to that stupid tv show (bad promotion is not better than no promotion). In theory she does have a better chance of climbing up to a decent spot outside of uk

You only need to sell around 3500 albums to have a top 10 album in australia

Exactly, so Lisa probably sold about 20 more copies this week than last week.
Lisa Scott Lee and her multi-ten selling single 'Electric'.

not sure if this has been posted but this is from www.lisascottlee.com"Nathan Moore parts with Lisa Scott-Lee Posted on the 6th May 2006 Due to being committed to releasing a new single with Worlds Apart and more TV work, Nathan Moore is pulling back from management duties. Lisa & Nathan still have a good relationship & Nathan will still be helping out where ever he can, but is no longer Lisa's Official Manager" thank god!

That's a very long winded way of saying he was dumped.
I really can't see the music thing working for Lisa anymore, shes had a good run almost 10 years in the music biz, - thats quite an acheivement .She should release her album online to keep her fans happy and then retire. There's plenty of other things she could do with her profile now, shes probably the most famous member of steps.

Realistically, getting to #60 isn't that bad for Lisa. Girls Aloud came out and did a promo tour and could still only manage to get to the mid 20's, so even that doesn't guarantee a huge hit. Anyway, it'll be interesting to see if it goes up the charts anymore tomorrow. If she breaks Top 40 and starts getting some airplay it could climb.

I don't really see how that is contradicting. I think what he means is that she doesn't deserve a high chart postion, because she has done no work to earn one. If she'd done promo and got to 60, the position would have been 'earned'. If she'd worked her ass off and done LOADS of promo, the position would have been 'deserved'. But to do NOTHING and go to 60 in a country where she's a complete unhead of is not 'deserved', it's 'lucky'.

I said she deserves credit for being #60 cause she did no promo so I am saying that's respectful and we should all be proud of it, cause anybody would guess it would do this great

It's not a case of "I've got a single out so you have to let me on your show". She's unknown, it got no airplay, so why are people going to put her on TV there. I think the person said it's well deserved, because no matter what your view on Lisa, you must agree she is persistant and has put alot into her career.

It's definitely 10 out of 10 for effort and persistence with Lisa even though she didn't promote over there. Maybe it was down to the fact that there was no budget. The fact that it's gone up to No.60 has to be because enough people liked the music. Non?

Yeah it is maKro Anywho, lisa deserves it, she worked so hard to attempt to achieve a top 10, they even said on tsl that if it were rleased any other week it would have made the top 10. She is doing well for no promo or airplay. Hopefully it will climb

It's not in the top 50 this week.
For reference, "Red Dress" is #24 this week after debuting at #22 last week, and Tina Cousins' "Pretty Young Thing" debuted at #29 this week.
I don't get the "she deserves credit for doing no promo" line of thinking, but I don't care enough to discuss it at length.
