Britney has officially announced that she and Kevin are expecting their second child on "The Late Show With David Letterman," where she appeared as a suprise guest; the episode will air on ITV4 on Thursday night at 0.00am (technically early on Friday morning) in the UK. There's 25 photos of her arriving at my site - www.ukbritney.tv - and a video clip here: cbs5.com/topstories/local_story_129202604.html

urgh she should just go away lol I used to be a massive fan of hers but if you listen to her recent music like Do Somethin compared to her earlier music she has gone totally downhill.
Her new music has sucked and shes flushing her career down the toilet with her new husband.

...good for her I guess. Sucks for pop music though.
Ah well.. I just as long as she's happy and one day (soon please) makes an outstanding comeback. Everyone can be happy then.
She looks stunning in the those pictures.

So no amazing pop comeback from Britney in 2006 then?
Fucking great. Good luck to them though, god only knows they'll need it. Hopefully they wont struggle as much with two kids as they have been with just the one.

It does feel slightly surreal that in 2006, two babies are the biggest FU ever to the fans and the employer. Britters then obviously do not want her pop princess crown, I only wish we had more pretenders to the crown.

When she came out with (You Drive Me) Crazy, I thought: 'Damn, that girl is going to be the next Madonna', and now... Oh well, we still have our own Madonna (original version)! And what about that damn album? At first it was supposed to be all dance-pop and electro (The Original Doll project), then it was supposed to be R&B-pop... What is going to happen to those Rotem, T-Pain, Ne-Yo tracks? WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO THOSE CATHY DENNIS TRACKS? I'm sorry, but what a stupid bitch!

She's always said that she wanted to be a young mum, and have her children close together in age, so I don't think it's that surprising. The fact that she kept recording songs, despite knowing she was pregnant (it was obvious to everyone by then anyway!), leads me to think there must be some use for them, but Rotem did say she was only at the "very early stages" (or something along those lines).

I've said this before, but being pregnant and having babies doesn't mean her vocal chords are going to shrivel up and career swirl down the bog. Other pop stars have had careers during and after pregnancy; why should Britney be any different?

She knew she was pregnant but she still recorded songs, I would not know why she would do that unless they were meant to be released. But still, official word on an album would be rather nice...

She's said she's releasing a few tracks on her website during the next few months. She'll be back with an album after that I presume.

She's having a baby.. it's not like she's dead. Get over it.. just means people will have to wait abit longer thats all.
It's not like once you have a few hits you sign an oath forcing you to release new albums every couple of years.. she's entitled to a life. Some of you so called fans are being incredibly selfish expecting her not to have a family just so you have a few songs to listen to and improve your own sorry lives..
She's been in entertainment for years.. if she wants a break to start a family then thats tough.. deal with it.. find a new artist to listen to in the meantime or be all the more excited when she does release a new album.

I'd like to back up the sentiments of Maureen and Kirkland. Giving birth doesn't stop you from being a popstar, or working- what times are we living in? Oh and for the record, I checked the tv listings- it's actually on tonight on ITV4 at 11:50 pm- we get the episodes a day after America. Oh and many congratulations to Britney- she seems delighted. And she has a nice new fringe, which is always good.

Firstly, congratulations Britney and Kevin.
Secondly, can all the Britney fans stop their fucking whingeing. Supposing she doesn't release a new album till late 2007 - that makes four years since In The Zone. A fan of, say, Janet Jackson would think nothing of such a gap. A fan of Sade, Kate Bush or Neneh Cherry would just be getting started. And yet, they're not the ones complaining about the horrible injustice life has dealt them. As Kirkland already said - get the fuck over it.
End of rant.

For starters : CONGRATULAITONS MAMA SPEARS!
I cannot believe how selfish some of the people on this site are, acting as if the pop stars singed to them personally to fill their emtpy lives with music. And I'm a huge brit fan, and she never dissapoints us, even we don't get a cd, there'll be some new songs. Had she released a new cd this past fall, there'd be no "b in the mix" or "mona lisa/someday" none of that stuff could get on an album. And the fans' sticking up for her, I really apprecitate that from one fan to another.

At the end of the day she's giving birth. It's only fucking pop music, get over it. She'll come back one day. Thank you. Madonna just had a baby before the Music promo started, isn't it? She knew she was pregnant but she still recorded songs, I would not know why she would do that unless they were meant to be released. But still, official word on an album would be rather nice... Yes, but Madonna is smart, and she knows how to promote her music. Brit? Not so sure. What about that Greatest Hits album that had no promo? What about that remixes collection that went to no.125 or something in the US and didn't even chart in the UK? More than that, Madonna was the Queen at the time when Music was released, she had nothing to prove, she didn't have 'America's Most Hated' husband and didn't walk the streets with no shoes on. She was at her peak and had nothing to prove at all. So don't compare these two. And FYI, ITZ came out in 2003... When is the new album out? 2008? Ha ha. I DO want her to have success, but it seems to be Forever all over again... Oh, and I'm SORRY, but Brit's no Kate Bush... She's no Janet Jackson either. And FYI, there's the Tweeds and she had to postpone her marriage because the Aloud had a new album out... There's Madonna and she had to do abortions 'cause 'the time wasn't right'. I DO NOT MEAN that Brit has to do the same, but I do believe that people who managed to make it big have to work even harder... Well, at least this is what I think... Oh, and I DON'T HAVE A SORRY LIFE. Stop being so over-protective. I like Brit and I don't like it when people bash her, but what I like about her the most is her music, not her babies or her husband etc etc etc. I don't care about them at all. I have more important people to care about. Does that make me a bad person? No. That's the choice I made, and I'm going to stick to it.
