Nadia made me change my mind about her this week, she was fantastic.
I still really like Mikelah. I might be mistaking tacky plastic accessories for an actual personality, but if she got the balence of working on her song more and getting her personality across, I think she could do well.
I would've prefered Vonzelle had sung Anyone Who Had A Heart in the style of Cilla Black.
Scott looked like a giant turd in his suede two piece. Anwar looked like he was auditioning for Jean Val Jean in Les Miserables. Jessica looked like Taylor Dayne post-facelift again.
I didn't miss Mario that much, but it was surely a whole lot more dull without him.

I think Nadia has been amazing 2 weeks running - her 'Try A Little Tenderness' last week was awesome too.
I think Mario was the clear winner until he left, but now I think it's three horse race between Nadia, Anwar and Bo, with maybe Carrie as an outside bet.
Mikahlah is awful. She can't sing. Sure, she's funny, but her vocals are purely woeful.
And I liked Vonzell for the first time this week - still don't think she has a hope in hells chance of winning though.

I think Carrie is overrated. I liked one of her early performances but haven't been very keen on anything she's sung since. However, she has a likeable personality, is quite pretty in a very pure, cheery blonde way and LeAnn Rimes sells heaps in America so she still has a good chance.

FYI:
'Idol' error earns contestants revote
TEXT LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- The 11 contestants left on Fox's reality hit "American Idol" are getting another shot at stardom.
Phone numbers that allowed viewers to pick their favorite contestant were incorrectly displayed during Tuesday's show, prompting a re-vote during the show scheduled to air Wednesday, the network said in a statement.
Phone lines will remain open for two hours following the episode, when another singer will be booted off this week by viewers. The contestant with the fewest votes goes home.
In the running are Bo Bice, Anthony Fedorov, Constantine Maroulis, Anwar Robinson, Scott Savol, Nikko Smith, Mikalah Gordon, Jessica Sierra, Vonzell Solomon, Nadia Turner and Carrie Underwood.
The series, which is in its fourth season, draws nearly 30 million viewers an episode.

I'm sitting here at work with two phones in my hands voting! Vonzell all the way. I thought she was absolutely amazing last night. I liked her before, but her "Best Of My Love" just solidified my adoration. Constantine was awful and Nadia's reggae take on Time After Time was just hideous. Having said that, I actually liked Carie for once, Nikko was much better, and as unattractive as Scott is, the boy can sing.
As I am typing this, the news came on saying that Mario is trying to sign onto Bad Boy Records. Interesting.
Peace, Ben

I completely agree with the Vonzell assessment. She was my fave as well. Sorry to say I expect Mikahla to go. Personality wise she is my favorite. I really want Nadia out of there. Her "thank you Jesus, god has my back" god schtick gets on my nerves. Like god is somewhere saying, "you know, I'll let that Nadia thru 'cause she thanked me, but that Lindsay girl, she's going down...." ha ha. Scott scares me. Good voice or no good voice (I don't particularly care for it) he's a marketing man's nightmare. He looks like he should be cutting my keys at the hardware store, not singing on my tv.... When it comes down to it, the only three I could see myself actually going to the store and purchasing a cd by are Mikahla, Vonzell, and Jessica. The rest are just too bland...

Anwar, Bo and Carrie are still running it for me.
Loved Anwar's choice, I would love to see him do another up-tempo pop/dance track, defenetly wouldnt expect that.
Simon is right about Bo, he is flawless at performing and looks so comfortable.
This is the first week i've really liked Carrie. Her hair was awesome and like Anwar, I didn't expect her to sing that track.
Constantine is still a rat.

I missed Carrie's performance so can't comment. So glad Michaela (know it isn't spelt like that but it should be) went. She was crap despite having a great personality. Scot is abhorrent and his vocals were well dodgy last night. How is he still in? Yuck.
I want to have Anwar's baby.
What was going on with Paula. She kept climbing all over Simon.

Anwar's skin is so clear, it looked almost plastic on the results show. I'm glad the group sing-alongs are back, they're my favourite bit. They're always hilarious.

It's between Bo and Carrie for me.
Anwar is also in my top three. Didn't think his song this week showed up his overall qualities.
Anthony has been just as bad as those eliminated the past two weeks.
Scott is a clever Rik Waller !!! He has a better voice and personality than RK. I'm just pleased that despite his looks he has got this far.
Can't wait for the shocks to start ......

If it had been Constantine and instead of Nadia in the bottom three then this week's show would have been perfect. They've all become little stars by now, in different ways.
I still doubt that any of them will ever become a big star, but what do I know? I guess Michael Bolton has been a big star, and I don't think he's as good as Bo Bice. I don't care much for either of them, but at least Bice is endurable.

I couldn't help giggling when Nadia fluffed the words to 'Time After Time'. Thanks to Television Without Pity I've been walking round all day going "always with splircles..."

I've loved vonzell from the beginning and i LOVE jessica's nan! But I can't see why simon thinks jessica has such an amazing voice!? It's good but ther r better. I remember when she sang "a broken wing" and simon said it was the best female vocal performance he had heard throughout the whole competition!!!? It was alright but it sounded like she was struggling.
I FUCKING HATE CONSTANTINE! STAB STAB STAB!!!

I think Jessica is very average - I don't see the fuss, to be honest. I think Carrie is very overrated too - I agree with television WIthout Pity when they say that her rendition of 'Alone' was good mainly because of the fantastic high harmony that the back up singer was doing.
Constantine is shit. And creepy.
Vonzell is the best female singer there in my opinion, but, despite a woeful performance last week, still think Nadia is, on the whole, head and shoulders above the rest...........

Hoorah. Anwar stayed in ..just although his performance wasn't the best. But Jessica went. No way was she the weakest. Scott, Constantine loads of the others were worse than her.
Jessica suffered from singing a song nobody knew. Always a mistake in my opinion.

Some thoughts, then, on this week's show:
- Almost everybody sucked tonight. Some were better than others, but very few people were actively impressive.
- Jessica didn't deserve to go. It wasn't a brilliant performance, but it wasn't actively bad (like Anthony's or Anwar's), so for it to be her final performance was a bit harsh.
- Carrie is Aimee from Clea, and I claim my £5.
- I hate Constantine. I can't even listen to him singing because I'm so distracted by the affectedness of his performance. I hate him for the exact same reason that I hate Katie Melua - every single gesture he makes when he's performing is affected and patronising - just empty emoting to make it look like he's actually passionate about what he's singing about, and I just can't take it seriously. Instead, I want to slap his stupid smug face from here to kingdom come.
- I hate Scott as well. I really cannot bear the way he just sits there with that sulky look on his face whenever he gets criticism. The man's a six-year-old. He hasn't yet passed that stage of emotional development, and I don't want him to win for that reason alone.
- Nadia was much better this week, but I agreed with Simon about the song choice. I worry for her, because while there is still time for her to recover from being in the bottom three in two consecutive weeks, I should imagine this is the time where everyone's starting to pick their favourites, whom they will vote for each week regardless of whether they're any good, and I'm concerned that if Nadia doesn't get it together soon she's not going to be on enough people's lists to survive more than a couple of weeks.
- I don't think Carrie has that 'it' factor Simon talked about. And I was very interested by her stance when the camera panned around her; the way she was holding herself and moving her arms made it look as though she was forcing the notes out with every muscle in her body. Perhaps I'm asking a lot, but one of the things I love about really good singers is that they make it look effortless - tonight I saw just how hard Carrie has to work to turn in the performance, and that put me off a bit.
- A note to Paula Abdul: yes, it is very original to sing a song in completely the wrong key like Anwar did, but I really don't think that's a good thing.
- Interesting song choice from Vonzell - I wasn't sure it would work for her, but I think she pulled it off. I hope she gets far in this contest - I want her in the final three at least, even if she does lose out to bloody Carrie in the end.
- I think I have the hots for Ryan Seacrest, and that really disturbs me.

I'm still intrigued by Anthony's arms. He sang a song about sex, but made it completely unsexy. Vonzell is my new favourite above Nadia. Nadia seems arrogant. Vonzell is humble, and with her karate experience she could kick Nadia's butt. However it looks like Scott is the Tweedy of the bunch.

I agree that Constantine just loves himself so much. He is abhorrent. Scott is even more abhorrent (my word for the day). I don't get Carrie but I don't get country and western style music so that may be my problem. I don't get Bo either. Vonzel was the best last night.
I want some of whatever Paula is on.

Vonzell has been my fave since I saw her in the auditions so if I could vote for someone I would vote for her every week. But my fave never wins . Season 1 my favourite was Nikki Mckibbi and she came 3rd, season 2 my favourite was Trenyce and she came 5th. Season 3 my favourite was jennifer hudson and she came 7th (i cried so hard that night) therefore Vonzell has no chance. NOTE: season 1 = white girl season 2 = black boy season 3 = black girl season 4 = work it out <cough>BO<cough>
