I wish Bo would get a hair cut or at least some frizz ease. His hair really gets on my nerves.
Constantine just freaks me out. Theres just something creepy about him.
There's nothing I can find likeable about Scott.
I'd like it to be a Carrie/Vonzell final, but it wont be.

It's Contanstine that needs the Frizz-Ease. I'll admit I'm a little in love with Bo, but I honestly think he has the talent to win it.

Bo has a lovely tone to his voice, and for some bizarre reason I am slightly attracted to him. Constantine is just a big showman-he can definately sing, but I feel he would be quite happy to be on T V in any capacity. Still hate Scott. Carrie and Vonzell-yay.Come on the girls.

It made my fucking day to see Constantine's face when he was booted off of the show last night. I had little confidence that "America" would vote this lame-ass poser off the show so soon. I have obviously underestimated the intelligence of my fellow Idol watchers. I apologize.

Hoo-fucking-rah! Who'd have thought? Looking forward to the show now except for the fact that that means that Scott is still in there.

Hopefully everyone has had chance to watch the programme now,I cannot belive Scott is still in and Constantine out. I did not for a minute think Constantine would win the whole competition, but he deserved to stay longer in my opinion

I'm not that big a fan of Constantine but this show gets more and more ridiculous. According to this week's votes Scott is the 3rd most popular. He's like Rik Waller, but even uglier, even less talented and even more arrogant. I'm starting to think he may be even more painful to watch than Clay, which is very very bad coming from me. When Clay came on tonight I screamed and covered my eyes and my mum said "don't do that, you scared me!" to which I replied "he scared me! blame Clay not me!"

Did you see how pissed off Constantine looked when Ryan said he reminded him of Clay? As if being voted off wasn't humiliating enough?
What about Paula's reaction and the way she was with his mother while he was singing at the end? She's mental.

For those who don't want to know the result beforehand it is simple.
Don't read the thread until you have watched the show.

What about people who want to discuss the previous week's show? If I wanted to find out what happened in advance of it screening in the UK I could go to any number of American Idol sites in America.
Not giving away spoilers is not that difficult or radical a concept.

I was amazed that Constantine went - I thought he was a dead cert for the final three. Not because I considered him especially talented or anything, but I thought he had a pretty solid fanbase.
I thought that it was a pretty duff show by and large last week anyway - the main high point for me (and I'm not using that term ironically) was seeing Paula Abdul all sobered up and talking sense, bless her. The group sing during the eliminations was appalling, and Vonzell, much as I love her, was by far the worst offender in that particular instance.
I'm concerned for Vonzell this week, as the person I'm supporting almost always comes fifth. If she gets the boot before Scott, I will not be happy. His time was up weeks ago.

Yeah, same here. I was expecting a Carrie vs. Constantine final. Now I guess it'll be Carrie and either Bo or Anthony, but if I could choose I'd go for Vonzell (the only person who could really be described as in any way ace that's left) and again either Anthony or very good. Neither of them are very good but Bo reminds me of someone I know who looks like him and is (extremely disturbing, I know) very buff, and Anthony cos he is Ukrainian. Jessica

So Scott is finally gone! Woohoo! We have a strong top 4 now, some stronger than others, mentioning no names *points at avatar* Agree with Ben too. Not taken with Vonzell and Anthony's only in there because he's blond, twinky and inoffensive. It's got to be a Bo and Carrie final, right? Bo and Vonzell at a push.

You can reveal it once it's been on UK TV Andrea, but not before (are you listening, Americans!)

I wouldn't have minded if Anthony had gone before him - but I find the other three wonderful. So I'm well pleased. Bring on the Bo/Carrie final!

Thank the Lord he's gone.
I love Vonzell. She's the biz but I know she won't win . I rate Bo too and it was thefirst time I actually rated Carrie's singing last night.

Bo and Carrie are by far the best and I hope it's a final between the two of them. They come across as excellent singers with a sense of direction to them. Vonzell can sing, but for some reason unknown to my British ears, prefers to shout. Sadly a lot of Americans like to vote for loud, shouty singing over light and shade singing, so she might get to the final.
Anthony is a lovely lad, and there is no denying he can sing, but he doesn't have that special something that turns him from a competent singer into a popstar for me. He would be great on Broadway, which was said of Clay too, and I agreed with that - and for some other, inexplicable reason he sold records by the bucketload to people who like that bland nonsense. Unfortunately for Anthony, Clay's fans are a bit loopy and so might take against anyone who might share the same space in the market as him. I hope it's not true, as Anthony is a lot nicer and less creepy than Clay.

I can quite see Vonzell going next week, actually - although she got more votes than Anthony this week, I think Anthony did himself a lot of favours by (a) cottoning on very quickly that just because he was on the couch did not mean he was safe, and (b) trying to stop Scott going "Wow!" when it became apparent that Scott had not reached the same conclusion.
I've read a few other messageboards, and one thing about American Idol seems to be that there always has to be one contestant to soak up the hate, and with Scott and Constantine (the previous hate-soakers) gone, Vonzell appears to be the new target.
That said, I don't really care who wins any more, as I don't dislike any of the final four - at worst, I'm pretty indifferent to Mr Bice. And without wishing to sound heartless, it's not as if the winner is likely to affect this country in any way - Kelly Clarkson's had a couple of singles over here (and will hopefully have a reasonable size hit with the ace 'Since U Been Gone'), but the other winners don't even register over here. I actually tested this on my flatmate last night, and while she admitted that the name Kelly Clarkson sounded reasonably familiar, she was convinced that I'd just made up Ruben Studdart and Fantasia Barrino.

Very true. I spotted that myself and it endeared him to me in a 'isn't he a nice lad' kind of way, which is good, because I think that's the angle he's working already.

And now, disproving my own theory, I was talking to two people last night who didn't strike me as the sort of people who would ever watch American Idol, and they both knew who Fantasia Barrino was. Curious.
